[ The Music Works ]

The Music Works is the brainchild of multi talented award winning composer Dave Waugh, who at 16 started the rock band which would later become the chart topping Lonehill Estate. Their first album Take it All had several singles and was nominated for a SAMA. Dave convinced them to let him record the third and self tilted album, this garnered 5 number 1 hit singles, airplay in Europe and the States, and a Wawela award Nomination.

Lonehill performed at some of the most famous venues and festivals in the world including The Astoria in London, The Viper Room in Hollywood and The Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

 

Dave studied Classical guitar and Jazz between 2000 and 2006 with classical guitarist Jimmy Gillmer.  It was at this time he also began recording his works at home and started pursuing a career in commercial music composition.

Composing for commercials for a decade, Dave does not rest on any of his achievements, he is still hungry and driven to produce the next hit or the most complimentary score for any commercial or film.
